Patience

As I lay here after marinating in my “old people soup”. The thoughts I was mediating on about patience still linger. I even played video games for a little while, Prince of Persia, The Rogue Prince. (As a fan of the IP, this game play style is throwing me off a little but I love it. )

Anyways, patience isn’t just a virtue or soemthing that we have while wait for cookies to bake. Patience is an imperative part of our healing, growth and creative process. We know things take time and the journey should be enjoyed. Not rushed, not forced to meet an invisible deadline. Allow yourself time to have that revelation and quit rushing your process because of someone else. Also quit beating yourself up when it takes a little longer to get to your goals. Yeah, I’m talking to you reading this! Make sure to allow yourself time to be you. If you need more time take the time.
